Graveside service for Beulah Reece, 88, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Celestial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Randy Cocheran, officiating.
Mrs. Reece passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
Beulah Hazel (Smith) Reece was born April 28, 1930 in Cement, Oklahoma to Austin and Florence (Marsh) Smith. She grew up in Cement where she attended Cement Pentecostal Church and then later graduated high school in 1948. Beulah married William "Arthur" Roberts on November 1, 1951 in Anadarko, OK. The two were married for 30 years and were blessed with 3 children when he passed away in 1982. She married Paul Reece on September 7, 1993 and they were married for 14 years when he passed away in 2007. Beulah enjoyed being outside where she could work in her yard, grow her flowers, or watch the birds. She liked music and going to the Senior Citizen's Center dances. Of all her hobbies, being with her family, especially her grandchildren, was her favorite.
She is survived by 1 son, Ronald Roberts and his wife Debra, of Cement; 2 daughters: Susan Wigley, of CO, and Carla Harris and her husband Johnny, of Chickasha; 9 grandchildren: Jennifer and Jarrod Mink, John and Misty Roberts, Stephanie and Kevin Brown, Jessica and Brent Shields, Jill and Zach Ewy, Delmar and Sashe Harris, Dewayne, Emily, and Kelsey Harris; 10 great grandchildren: Denver, Harper, and Baker Harris, Blake, Bailey, and Liam Mink, Ella and Maya Brown, and Brynli and Cruz Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Austin and Florence Smith; 2 husbands: Arthur Roberts and Paul Reece; 1 son in law, Steven Wigley, 3 sisters: Gracie Dale, Rheba Carlson, and Stella Chaney; and 1 brother, Austin Smith Jr.
