Memorial services for DeAnn Campbell, 71, of Minco, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 10am at the First united Methodist Church of Minco, burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery Minco. Rev. Diane Pruitt will be Officiating, Under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home Minco
DeAnn was born January 23, 1946 at Chickasha to Ivan Lee and Fay Charlene (Fryrear) Stinchcomb
She died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Baptist Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City.
DeAnn was raised in the Minco community, graduated from Minco High School in 1964, She was a cheerleader, played basketball, participated in 4H and achieved Outstanding State Member and her picture in Oklahoma Today Magazine, 1963 4H Hall of Fame. DeAnn attained her Bachelor's Degree from OSU and her Master's Degree from SWOSU.
DeAnn married David Bruce Campbell in July 27, 1998 at the First United Methodist Church of Minco. Member of the First United Methodist Church of Minco, was a church leader, taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and helped start the Bell Choir, member of the Methodist Women's Group, which made quilts for the sick. Was a board Member for the Minco Senior Citizens Center.
Started her teaching career at Kansas City, Kansas, then Minco Public Schools teaching science, later received a grant from Cameron University at Lawton developing science curriculum for state teachers and again for Oklahoma City Public Schools, OCCC and mid and high school teachers
Preceded in death by her father, Lee Stinchcomb, brother, Larry Lee Stinchcomb
Survived by her mother, Charlene Stinchcomb of Minco, Husband Bruce Campbell of the home in Minco, Sons, Michael Gurule of Oklahoma City, Ian James Campbell and wife Marilyn of Moore, Brother, Darrell Charles Stinchcomb and wife Sally Jo of Cashion, Sister-in-law, Wilma Sharon Stinchcomb of Oklahoma City, Niece and Nephew, Jane Ann McCarthy and husband Todd of Oklahoma City, Christopher Lee Stinchcomb of Oklahoma City, great nephew, Thomas McCarthy, 2 Grandsons, Eli and Daniel Campbell,
