"The Man Who Sold Chickasha"
Jack Timothy Crider of Chickasha, OK, left this earth on October 11th, 2017 at the age 79. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 10th, 2017 at 3:00 PM at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Chickasha. The Crider family would like to invite all who knew Jack to come and celebrate Jack's life.
Jack was born December 11th, 1937 to C.G. and Melba Crider in Altus, OK and grew up in nearby Lawton. Jack served in the Army Reserves and National Guard for eight years and held great pride in achieving the rank of Lieutenant.
Jack married his wife Linda Faye Ging on March 16th, 1963. They settled, raised their four children, and spent the rest of their years together in Chickasha. Jackhad a lifelong career as a salesman, selling everything from fabric to beauty supplies, but spent most of his life selling real estate in Chickasha for more than 40 years. He was a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle and Elks Lodges, where he enjoyed spending time with friends telling his many jokes and stories. His favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting.
Jack was always there for those in need, whether it was helping someone find a job or a home or even allowing them to stay in the comfort of his own home, he was always there to lend a helping hand.
Jack was preceded in death by daughter Bobbie Jean Crider, father C.G Crider, mother Melba Crider, sister Rosa Dawn Crider Hillary. He left behind his wife Linda Crider of 54 years, children Charles Cole, Tracey Beach, Michael Crider, Steven Crider and Danielle Burgess, along with grandchildren Danette Beach, Dorian Crider, Erica Crider, Shauna Beach, Logan Crider, Madison Crider, Tessa Willis, and Quahada Burgess.
