Janice Thompson Janice Sue (Summers) Thompson, 60, of Stillwater, formerly of Chickasha, died Feb. 14, 2019, in Oklahoma City after a short illness. She was born May 2, 1958, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Tressie and Oscar Summers. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2 at Cowboy Country Church, Chickasha, Oklahoma. John Wilson and Lynn Walker will officiate.
Jan had a love of the whimsical, particularly dragons and wizards. She lived for several years in New Mexico, and always had a love for the area. She enjoyed fishing and quiet days at the lake. Most of all, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Allen Ray and Timothy Lee Summers.
She is survived by her mother, Tressie Jamal, of Chickasha; a son, Bruce Goodellow and wife, Christina, of Duncan; daughters, Sue Ann Kelly of Norge; and Tabatha Williams of Stillwater; eight grandchildren, Bryant, Jovie and Xander Goodfellow, of Duncan; Heaven Kelly and fiancé James Baker, of Sapulpa; Darian Kelly and fiancé Vince Courtney, of Bethany; Chloe' Henry of Chickasha; Javon Taylor and wife, Nicole, of Bartlesville; and Nicholas Williams of Oklahoma City; and three great-grandchildren, Willow Ann Gabriel, Orrick Baker; and Brayden Taylor; one brother, PJ Summers and Shannon, of Stillwater; and a host of cousins and friends.
