Justin Boyer

Justin Boyer Justin Ross Boyer was born in Chickasha, OK on December 27, 1989 to Roy and Terrie (Ross) Boyer. He was raised in Verden, OK his entire life where he attended Verden School. He was involved in every extracurricular activity that was offered. He is remembered as an outstanding athlete and student. A teacher and coach's favorite because of his dedication, leadership, and work ethic.
He went on to play baseball at Redland's Community College and then finished his college education at OSU-IT. After graduation, Justin started his career at AEP-PSO where he was an equipment operator. He was passionate about his job and like everything else, wanted to be the best he could be out at the plant. His coworkers said he was a man like nobody else; always picking on someone; wanting to learn new things; and a man of Faith. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Verden.
The light of Christ radiated through Justin everywhere he went. Every opportunity that was presented, he spent his time sharing his love and his faith. It was obvious and apparent that Justin lived to serve the Lord. Throughout the hardest time of his life, he remained steadfast and secure with his Hope in Jesus. Justin made the statement that through his suffering if only one person came to know Christ, then this would all be worth it. His prayer was that God would use him, and He did just that.
Justin married Whitney Sanders on May 2, 2015. The two were blessed with three beautiful children: Kanon, Karter, and Camille. His most prized possession on this earth was his family. It was the simple things that meant the most to him. He commented daily on how blessed he was - never taking a moment for granted. He was a devoted husband who spent his years making sure Whitney knew how much she was loved and adored. He was the absolute best father who was involved in every detail of his kids' lives. Justin was the true definition of a Godly man in an out of the home. Everything he did was to point his family to Jesus.
If Justin could leave us all a message, it would go something like this, "Although the battle has been lost, the victory was already won. Seek Jesus with all your heart; love your family to no end; breathe in the fresh air and soak in the scenery; and enjoy life. Sweetheart, I'm okay. Mom and Dad, I'm okay. Everyone, I'm okay. I love you all and I will see you all soon."
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Whitney Boyer of the home; children: Kanon Wade, Karter Boyer and Camille Boyer of the home; parents: Roy and Terrie Boyer of Verden; brothers: James and Brittni Boyer of Chickasha, Jared Boyer of Verden; grandparents: Leota Boyer, Roy & Jean Ross, Donna & Dan Jordan; in-laws, Brett and Robbin Sanders, Patrice and Mike Dolch; brother and sisters-in-law: Jake Dolch, Luke Dolch, Emily and Jeremy Mooney, Chance and Amanda Sanders, Bretlin Sanders, Cale and Kyndall Dolch; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Justin is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Coy Boyer and Joe Chisholm

I had the great pleasure of watching Justin grow up at Verden. I was his high school principal. He is absolutely one of the best young men I have ever been around.
He comes from an amazing family. Heaven is a better place.
