Martin "Marty" Allen Bray, 53, departed this world on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Midwest City.
Cremation has taken place at the family's request and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Rev. Glenn Pence officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.
Marty was born Friday, September 25, 1964 in San Jose, California to William Allen and Shirley Ann (Parish) Erickson. He attended school in Ninnekah, Oklahoma and lived in the Chickasha area most of his life. He was well-known and respected as Chef Martin at the Chickasha Country Club for more than 12 years. He resided the last year and a half in Midwest City. Marty was an avid outdoorsman and animal lover who enjoyed fishing, camping and motorcycling. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include, son, Michael Allen Bray of Tucson, AZ, stepson, Jackson Ray Green of Tucson, AZ, 2 daughters, Alisha Bray of Chickasha and Ruby Ann Bray of Tucson, AZ, and his mother, Shirley Ann Hatfield of Rush Springs. He is also survived by 2 brothers, David Clay Erickson of Rush Springs, Anthony Joseph Bray of Meridian, ID, a sister, Linda LaDawn Anthony of Chickasha, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Johnathon Rodger Bray.
