Mary  Pearcy
Mary Ellen Pearcy 82, of Ninnekah, OK, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Saturday September 14, 2019. Mary Ellen was Born on January 23, 1937 at her Parents, Esther and Stanley Gilchrist, farm home 6 miles outside Wakita, OK. Mary Ellen was named after her Doctor's Nurse, who happen to be his wife.
Mary graduated from Wakita High School in 1955 and shortly after graduation married a young solider that had just returned home from the Korean War, Delbert Clois Pearcy. Mary Ellen and Clois were married at the First Christian Church in Pond Creek, OK. For the last 15 years Mary resided in Ninnekah, OK a few doors down from her Oldest Son. She was a Member of the First Baptist Church in Cement, OK.
Mary was the Youngest of Five Children, she is preceded in death by her parents Esther and Stanley Gilchrist, her husband Clois Pearcy, three brothers, Raymond, Marvin, and Wilfred Gilchrist.
Mary is survived by her Sister, Idella Diller, Nash, OK. Three Sons, Walt and Kelly Pearcy of Ninnekah and their children Kayla and Michael Gerdts of Okla. City, OK., Kourtney and Matthew Lively and their children Hadlie and Harper of Chickasha, OK. Kory and Mallory Pearcy of Yukon, OK. Son - Don Pearcy of Bonsall, Calif., his Children Catherine and Tom Connelly and their children Kellen and Olivia of Fallbrook, Calif. Charlie Pearcy of Riverside, Calif. Son - Bruce and Darla Pearcy of Augusta, KS and Jerrod Pearcy of Augusta, KS. Nathan and Victoria Pearcy and children Charlotte and Margaret of Augusta, KS., and Taylor Pearcy of Augusta, KS.
Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Hawley Baptist Church, North of Nash, OK., at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019. Brother Casey Fine and Gary Lillie officiating. Interment will follow at the Wakita Cemetery, Wakita, OK. Memorial can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cement, OK., or First Baptist Church of Wakita, OK., or the Hawley Baptist Church, Nash, OK. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK.
