Reba was born on April 13, 1929, to James Alvin and Myrtle (Joyner) Cook in Pocasset, OK. Reba attended and graduated from Chickasha High School.
Reba married Ray Montgomery on August 29, 1947 and they had 3 children, Janet, Jimmy, Paula.
Reba worked various jobs over her life but her last career was as a realtor. She dearly loved her family and friends. Reba's passion even into her late 80's was country western and line dancing. Reba had a wonderful and blessed life.
Reba is survived by her son Jim Montgomery and his wife, Susan, and her daughter Paula Fitzpatrick; Grandchildren: Chuck Randle, Chad Randle, Colby Randle, Brenna Montgomery Delbert, Erin Rae Montgomery, Kyle Montgomery, Scott Fitzpatrick, Bradley Fitzpatrick; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings: Jesse Cook and Thelma Wright; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Montgomery, second husband, Bill Boxley, and her parents, James Alvin and Myrtle Cook; brothers and wives: Maurice and Maydell Cook, Rayburn Cook, Albert and Imogene Cook, Wilburn and Marjorie Cook; sister-in-law: Christine Cook; brother-in-law: Charles Wright; daughter and son-in-law: Janet and Charlie Randle; grandson: Kelly Fitzpatrick.
In addition to the Cook family is the Montgomery family who from the beginning of her marriage to Ray was Reba's family as well.
Join us for a celebration of Reba's life on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:30am at First Christian Church of Chickasha, OK, with the Reverend Michael Oberlander officiating. Private family burial at a later time.
Memorials or donations may be made to First Christian Church Disciples Women which Reba was a member of for many years.
