Robbie Davis

Robbie Davis "It's a girl" the doctor announced in a 'normal' tone on February 8th, 1956 in Ada, Oklahoma as he handed a bundle of sunshine to Thurman R. and Betty Z. Bolin. Sunshine that all would get to know as Robbie Bolin, and this ray of light would brighten not only that delivery room on that day but also the lives of all who had the honor of meeting Robbie. In September 1960, Robbie's love radiated as she peered down at the newborn, Joel Bolin, her baby brother and best friend. Later that love would be spread and shared with her class of 1974 as she graduated from Cement, Oklahoma. After graduation she attended cosmetology school. Robbie married Phil Bitsche in March of 1975 and their love created her brightest treasurers, her children: Michelle Elaine and husband Vern Peterson, Destin Eugene, and Shawn Phillip. She later gained a bonus daughter Amanda Seibold and husband Brody. That love continued to spread to her grandchildren: Braedn and Addisyn Peterson; Deano Davis, Lexi, Austin and Ryland Bitsche, and Baylee Seibold along with three special nieces: Kami Middleton, Jordan Hughes, and Morgan Smith. Robbie's journey was a bright path consisting of owning and operating her own beauty salon, "Robbie's Hair Design"; working at Cement Public School; and being employed at 'The Wildcat' or "Catty Cat" as she called it.
No one in that delivery room on that day in 1956 knew that that little girl would be all but 'normal' for she would have a glow about her that would be unexplainable and that glow would brighten the lives and change the lives of so many. She taught people to love as she loved and encouraged all to accept people no matter who they were or where they came from or even where they may end up. She was the light of the party as she entertained people with her stories. Robbie made everyone feel like family and was known to all as Aunt Robbie or Nae. Robbie loved life and loved people, but her greatest moments were those spent with family and friends; turning junk into treasure, and helping people decorate their homes.
On November 2nd, 2018 the trumpet loudly sounded "It's a girl" and that bundle of sunshine, Robbie Bolin, moved to her heavenly home where she was greeted by those who had gone before her and she had missed so dearly, Thurman and Betty Bolin, her brother, Joel Bolin, and her in-laws Bill and Mary Bitsche. Robbie's journey here on earth left footprints of humor, love, acceptance, positivity, and joy. Robbie may have moved but her light still brightly shines upon those footprints providing for all who knew her a path to follow. .. so let's gather in celebration on November 16, 2018 at The Assembly in Cyril at 10:30 and begin our walk.
