Text size

Roxanna Miller-Gandy peacefully passed away at her home in Chickasha, OK the morning of November 28, 2016 at the young age of 54.
Roxy is survived by her 2 sons Steve Miller and wife Heather of Chickasha, OK: Justin Miller and wife Kim of Ratliff City, OK; her cherished grandchildren Shyann and Sierra Miller both of Chickasha, Kayla McDaniel, Sean and Cody Mastermen all of Ratliff City. She is also survived by her brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Roxy was preceded in death by her husband Steve Gandy of Chickasha, a sister, her mother and some cousins.
Roxy raised both of her sons in Chickasha where they attended school, played sports and began their own families, adding to her family she cherished.
Roxy worked at Southern Plains Medical Center. She was employed there for over 27 years. She had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer but with her strength and so much support she was cancer free when she passed.
Roxy was a very strong, independent woman who loved her family with every piece of her huge heart. She had many dear friends who, to her, were just as much family.
Her sons will be holding a memorial service in her honor on Saturday, December 10th at The First Baptist Church in Ninnekah. You are welcome to join them to celebrate and remember the woman who's shoes can't be filled. It will be a pot-luck lunch. Come and go as you please. The family only asks that instead of flowers, please make a donation to the Cancer Charity of your choice.
