Wanda Carol Randle, 81, of Verden, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in Chickasha. The daughter of Finis Jerome Milam and Avis Voleta (Taylor) Milam, she was born November 7, 1935 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Wanda graduated from Verden High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Harrel Randle, on November 25, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2009. Wanda worked for Maremont for many years until her retirement. She then began sewing for family and friends and turned her hobby into a booming business. Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church of Verden for over fifty years. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, making things for family and friends, traveling, reading, and watching television, especially gospel music shows and crime dramas. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, friends, and church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Karen Randle; grandson, Dustin Rhodes; great grandson, Tyler Johnson; one brother, Claude "Doc" Milam; one sister, Donna "Sue" O'Neal; and her beloved dog "Babee."
Wanda is survived by two daughters, Shirley Pugh and her husband, Bill, of Verden and Diana Cooper and her husband, Allen, of Moore; two sons, David Randle of Verden and Keith Randle and his wife, Tammy, of Verden; twelve grandchildren, Murl Pugh and Letha Meeks, of Chickasha, Chris Pugh and his wife, Renae, of Verden, Timothy Pugh and his wife, Kinnie, of Norge, Eric Jantz and his wife, Crystal, of Chickasha, Buddy Rhodes and his wife, Savannah, of California, Natasha Johnson and her husband, Zack, of Moore, Robin Travis and her husband, Larry, of Cyril, Kevin Randle and his wife, Kayla, of Verden, Jesse Randle and his wife, Brooke, of Verden, Heather Aldredge and her husband, Cody, of Cyril, David Keil of Verden, and Dusty Keil and his wife, Ashley, of Anadarko; twenty three great grandchildren; two sisters, Verla Parker and her husband, Earl, of Newcastle and Joyce Hobgood of Verden; four brothers, Ben Milam, of Chickasha, Sam Milam and his wife, Francis, of Tuttle, Floyd Milam of Oklahoma City, Rodney Milam and his wife, Linda, of Mustang; four sisters-in-law, Linda Milam of Oklahoma City, Juanita Mason of Jones, Sadie Freeman of North Carolina, and Janice Randle of Ohio; brother-in-law, Bobby Randle and his wife, Wilma, of Ohio; many nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 5, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Verden. Burial will follow in the Verden Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
