Kelly Ray Talley
Born on August 17, 1941 to Brutus and Nina Ruth Talley. In August of 1959 Kelly joined the United States Navy. He fought in the Cuban Missile Crisis and earned the rank of E3. He was honorably discharged in March of 1963. From there he started cross country truck driving until his retirement in 2000. During that time he earned the Prestigious Million Mile Driver Award.
On July 21, 1972 he married Mildred J. Davis. Kelly and Mildred were married for 44 years. Kelly passed away on May 17, 2017 at the age of 75.
He is preceded in death by his parents Brutus and Nina Ruth, three sisters Marcelee, Maxine, and Marylynn, and one step-son Roger Lee Fitch.
He is survived by his wife Mildred J. Talley of the home, one sister Betty, Daughter-in-law JoAnn Fitch of Blanchard, his grandchildren Chris and Jamie Fitch of Marlow, October Fitch of Amber, Heather and Johnathan Lange of Blanchard. His great grandchildren Karis Fitch, Conner, Kailenn, and Vander Lange as well as many nieces and nephews.
His services will be held on Monday, May 22 at 10:00 am at Bible Baptist Church on 29th Street in Chickasha, OK.
