Teresa Darlene Handke
Quite fittingly, as Christmas was her favorite day of the year, on Dec. 25, 2016, in Chickasha, OK, Teresa Darlene Handke, 64, got her angel wings.
Teresa lived her life to the beat of a different drummer. She saw life and the world around her in her own unique way. Her favorite quote was: "Do the best you can where you are with what you have." That is the way she lived her life. No matter where she was or her circumstances, she tried to be a positive influence on everyone she came in contact with.
Teresa's love of people extended her family beyond blood relatives. Her niece, cousins and cousins children were the light of her life. She kept up with everyone, especially on Facebook. She loved sharing everyone's posts. Her compassion for animals was unsurpassed. Her animals were also part of family.
Teresa's matchless enthusiasm for beautiful things in nature was know to anyone who knew her. Some of her other favorite things include cars, motorcycles, flowers and the color purple.
Teresa's individuality will be missed by all of us. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Eugene Handke and Ortha Tate Handke. She is survived by her brother, Harold Handke and partner Wanda Lewis of Kaufman, TX, niece Megan Handke and partner, Matt Huckabay,of Dallas, TX, aunts, Arlene Riddle Wilkins of Commerce, TX, Neoma McKinney of Tuttle, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Handke of Tuttle, Mr. and Mrs. John Chaney of Mustang. Also many other cousins, other family members and friends. God's speed, Teresa!
