Rush Springs, OK - Bobby was born on April 27, 1950, in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He bravely succumbed to his battle with cancer on May 16th . He served on the Grady County Fair Board for more than 15 years, mostly as President. His long-range vision was the eventual renovation of the facility into a state-of-the-art fairground. This vision was fulfilled, and the county now reaps the benefits. In 2014 he received the Oklahoma Association of Fairs and Festivals State Volunteer of the Year award. He was also a volunteer for the Oklahoma Mesonet and maintained the weather station in the Acme area for over 30 years.
