Claudene Marie (McCorpin) Alt

Funeral services for Claudene will be held at Parkview Christian Church on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at 2:30pm at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Claudene Marie McCorpin was born November 26, 1929 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charlie B and Vera M (Burns) McCorpin. She grew up and was educated in Holdenville and graduated from Holdenville High School when she was seventeen.

Claudene married Jack E Alt on June 2, 1946 in Holdenville, Oklahoma and continued to live there for many years while maintaining a home and raising a daughter and a son. They moved to Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1962 where they owned and operated The Big Burger Drive In restaurant for thirteen years. In 1977 they worked together in the operations of Century 21 ALT Real Estate and later, ALT Lock & Safe company.

Claudene was a long time member of Parkview Christian Church in Chickasha where she and Jack worshiped together for many years.

Claudene passed from this earthly life at the age of 93 on Friday, January 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her brother James S McCorpin, and her parents Charlie and Vera McCorpin. She is survived by her daughter Renee (husband Dorsey) McIntosh of Spring Hill, Tennessee and son Gregory (wife Lynne) Alt of Chickasha, Oklahoma, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous other friends and loved ones.
