June Earlene Rogers Jackson departed this world Thursday Oct 3, 2024 she fought the hard race and won her heavenly rewards. June was the oldest of 7 born to Ernest "Windy" and Gladys Jones Rogers on July 9, 1930, in rural Gracemont, Oklahoma. She started school at Ball-Nob and ended her education at Washita Public Schools. June married Michael "Mike" Jackson on Feb. 29, 1948 in Anadarko, Oklahoma and became a mother to 4 daughters. June and Mike would go on to start their own businesses Jackson Horsetrailers (1961) and Lace & Co. (1979) in Chickasha, Oklahoma. June and Mike enjoyed traveling and were fortunate to visit many places around the world. Besides being a wife and mother, June was creative, a garden enthusiast, an artist, decorator and volunteer. She loved her 4 legged fur babies and critters, both creeping and crawling. June had a deep and abiding love for her extended family, she was the Rogers family matriarch sharing stories of her grandparents, special uncles and cousins. She recited grace with the same prayer her Grandfather Rogers said when she was a small child. June dearly loved her siblings and for the last 27 years they all got together to eat lunch and visit every Tuesday. She said it was her favorite day of the week. June was baptized and publicly proclaimed Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1950. She served the Lord faithfully through church attendance, home Bible studies and world mission trips touching many lives. June was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Chickasha, Oklahoma. June is proceeded in death by husband Mike, parents Windy and Gladys Rogers, sister, Wilma Holsey, Son-in-laws AD Burtschi, Billy Tallent, Johnny Wilson and Phillip Powell. Survived by her daughters Jacque, Debra, Vicki and Shelly. Grandchildren Heather and Matt Flinton, Travis and Danielle Burtschi, Ryjeil and Jared Cook, Kyra Gordon, Jacob Burtschi, Erin and Steve Blythe, Caleb Tallent, Dereth and BJ Harrison, Reece Wilson and Noah Vance. 17 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. Siblings Norma Melencamp, Roberta Eskew, Donna Johnson, Johnnie Rogers and Diane Tallent and a host of nieces and nephews.

Last but not least the very caring staff of Chickasha Nursing Center, and Dr. Coppedge, heartfelt thanks to each one of you.

A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2024 at Sevier Funeral Home Chapel. Committal Service was at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family at www.sevierfuneralhome.com
