Fletcher, OK - Kathryn Lorene Igo Farley, beloved mother, sister, and friend, was born on December 12, 1950, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Frank and Verla (Koch) Igo. She spent her early childhood in Chickasha before the family moved east of Fletcher, where she continued her schooling. Kathy graduated from Fletcher High School, creating lifelong memories and friendships along the way.
Following graduation, Kathy built a long and dedicated career in public service. She worked at Security Bank, Finance and Accounting at Fort Sill, Fort Sill Training Aids, and the Management Information Systems Office. She later retired from the Social Security Administration, where she was known for her reliability, kindness, and commitment to helping others.
Kathy's greatest joy was her family. She and her former husband, James Farley, were blessed with three children: Jamie Farley, Cole Farley, and Jessica Sullivan.
Kathy is survived by Cole and his wife, Kristen Farley, of Hagerville, Arkansas; Chris and Jessica Sullivan of Edmond, Oklahoma; her brother, Erwin Igo of Cement, Oklahoma; and her sisters and their spouses, Dorothy and Lonnie Sanders and Janice and Sam Lee, all of Fletcher, Oklahoma. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Greyson Sullivan and Addison Farley; as well as 11 nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and by her cherished daughter, Jamie, whose memory she carried tenderly throughout her life.
Kathy will be remembered for her quiet strength, warm heart, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence made the world brighter for those who knew her.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Fletcher United Methodist Church, where family and friends will gather to honor her life and legacy.
