As we approach the 1st anniversary of a life so beautifully lived, it deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us to commemorate the passing of Mick Hendrix, 71, of Modesto, CA, formerly of Chickasha, OK. Mick died, May 5, 2021, at home. He was preceded in death by his parents Allie Roscoe and Audra Chastain Hendrix, sisters, Barbara Fitzpatrick, Dorthy Davis and brother, Ray Hendrix. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lauren (Laurie) Vierra, daughter, Michelle Hernandez (Michael), stepson, Ryan Knepp (Shawnta), sisters, Nina Powers and Helen Lindenmuth, grandchildren, Devon Hendrix, Richard Nichelson, Mickayla Hernandez and Mariah Hernandez (great-granddaughter Leah Miller).

Mick was a Wallpaper and Painting contractor for 40+ years. He retired in 2015 to enjoy his grandchildren, travel and focus on his many hobbies. He loved exercising, photography, BBQ and the newest hobby, bread baking.

Graveside services will be 10am, Friday, May 13, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, OK, followed by a gathering to celebrate Mick's life and share memories at Interurban Restaurant, 300 East Grand Ave, Chickasha, OK, 11am-3pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sevier Funeral Home in Chickasha, OK.
