Rosa  Hinds
Rosa Lee (Clark) Hinds was born January 25, 1941 to Arthur James and Dessie Mae Clark in Anadarko, Oklahoma. The family later moved to Chickasha, Oklahoma where Rosa Lee Spent all of her childhood and a big part of her adult life.
After graduating high school, she had a clerical job at Boren Malone. After leaving that job, she went to work as cashier for the Chickasha Clinic, eventually becoming head Cashier. She worked there a total of 19 years.
She married J.W. Drewry at the age of 19, and had one son, Glen, from that marriage. They later divorced. She then married her husband of 41 years, John Hinds, on July 15, 1978. Due to John's employment, John and Rosa moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1990 where she lived until her death. After moving to Tulsa, she worked as a secretary to her brother, Darwin Clark, for Gordon Tyler Insurance Agency. She then went to work for American Bank & Trust.
She passed away October 28, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a short stay in the hospital.
She is predeceased in death by her Mother and father and brother, James.
She is survived by her husband John of the home; son Glenn Drewry and wife, Yvonne of Chickasha, Oklahoma; brother Darwin Clark and wife Mary of Tulsa; sister Ruth Janzen and husband, Loren of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother Dwayne Clark of Texas; Grandson Kyle and wife Caroline Trotter; Great Grandkids Kyson, Kynzlee, and Bryor Trotter of Alex, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Rosa Lee enjoyed her retirement and spent her time caring for her home, reading, and taking long walks. She was passionate about her family, relishing every visit with them. Rosa Lee was loved by her family and she will be missed. She truly was the spitfire in our family.
Services will be November 16, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Lukes Episcopal Church 124 S. 6th Chickasha, Oklahoma.
