Roy Cranton
December 1, 1978 - February 9, 2020
Roy Harding Cranton, age 41, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jean and Claris Grisham and Phyllis and Willard Cranton.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Cranton; sons, Taylor, Cole and Quinn; parents, Tracy and Beth Cranton; sister, Helen (Matt) Denman; mother-in-law and father-in-law Dee and Mark Tarczewski; sister-in-law, Lisa Cooley; numerous nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Roy was raised by loving parents who instilled in him a strong work ethic, a joy of working with his hands, and a love of family.
There was nothing more important to Roy than his family. Throughout dating and marriage, he was dedicated to the love of his life, Christine, for 21 years. Nothing lit up Roy's life more than Christine. He was a loving husband who enjoyed pampering his wife.
Roy considered his children his greatest accomplishment. He was a patient and gentle father who loved his children. Everything he did and everything he wanted was for them. He was immensely proud of them and the best part of his life was the time he spent building things with them, watching them do what they loved, and making them laugh.
Roy was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, husband, and a friend. A kind, hard-working, and steadfast man with a gentle humor, he touched the lives of everyone he met. He was well loved and respected by many. Although he is no longer walking with his loved ones here on earth, he will be walking with us in our hearts, our memories and in heaven.
