Chickasha, OK - Tom was born February 2, 1946 in Alameda, CA to Vernie Ernest Riley and Margaret Aitken Riley. At the age of 17, Tom enlisted into the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. Tom often referred to himself as a Jack of All Trades but a Master of None. Tom worked many different jobs over his lifetime to include working at General Motors as a machinist, working on a dairy farm, working in the oil field, working as a cross country truck driver and working in security. He loved the military, first responders, Harley Davidsons and 1940's Ford panel trucks, to include the two he owned, which he named Bertha and (Blue). He also loved animals, particularly his cats Kissy Boy and Pot Pot.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marie Riley of Chickasha, OK, daughter Marie Rohner-Talton and husband Allen of Poulsbo, WA, son John T Riley and wife Helen of Chesapeake, VA, son Jason L Hood and wife Erin of Clifton, VA, son Anthony L Riley and wife Tarah of Yukon, OK, daughter Teranie P.M. Riley and Troy Williams of Chickasha, OK, along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, located at 1910 S 20th St in Chickasha, OK on Monday, September 1, 2025 at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Oklahoma City Veterans Hospital.
